Swaps
A forex swap rate is an overnight interest paid or received for holding a position overnight. Swap rates are determined by the overnight interest rate differential between two countries’ currencies and whether the position is long or short.
Swap rates are counted based on the position you hold (long or short), multiplied by the swap value, and by the number of overnight holdings.
Commissions
To provide raw spreads from 0.0 pips a standard commission is applied.
On Forex and Metal pairs the commission is $3.5 per lot per side.
The commission for crypto is only 0.045% lot per side.
Also, on Indices, we try to keep the commissions as low as reasonably possible since we only charge for the commissions received from the liquidity provider without any markups. Commissions on Indices are 0.0005% lot per side. As a reference, for US30 trading at 32,000, the commission is $0.16 per lot per side.
Frequently Asked Questions
To find out what are the commissions of a trade, kindly open the Terminal window (CTRL+T) in the MetaTrader app, and with right-clicking add commissions. On mobile devices tap on the history and select the desired trade.
If you use MetaTrader then the swap rates can be found under the Market Watch Window (Ctrl + M). Right-click on the symbol you want to trade and select “Specification”.
In cTrader open the Active Symbol Panel (Ctrl + E), choose your instrument and look for ‘Swap’ at the Symbol info panel.
The swaps on our server are charged daily at 22:00 GMT+0 for any open position at that time. Please keep in mind that 3 day-swap fees are charged on Wednesdays.
